Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy describes how Dracan Marine stores and accesses information on the end devices of users visiting our website. It complements our Privacy Policy and should be read together with it.
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files placed by your browser on your end device (computer, tablet, smartphone). They typically contain the name of the originating domain, a storage period and a unique value identifying a session or a user. Cookies allow us, among other things, to remember your preferences, ensure proper functioning of the website, measure traffic and – subject to your consent – carry out analytics and marketing activities.
In addition to cookies, we may also use equivalent technologies such as local storage, session storage, pixels, beacons, device identifiers or advertising identifiers. The provisions of this Policy apply to such technologies accordingly.
1.2. Data controller
The data controller of personal data processed in connection with the use of the website is Dracan Marine Sp. z o. o. with its registered office at ul. Grunwaldza 76, 14-100 Ostróda, Poland registered in the Polish National Court Register under KRS number 0001051852, tax identification number NIP 7412166328, statistical number REGON 526060207 (hereinafter: the “Controller” or “Dracan Marine”).
You can contact the Controller in matters related to cookies and personal data protection at: info@dracanmarine.com.
1.3. Categories of cookies
The Dracan Marine website may use the following categories of cookies and similar technologies:
a) Necessary cookies
Cookies required for the proper functioning of the website, including security, session management, recording your consent preferences, processing forms and basic navigation. Necessary cookies do not require user consent and are always active.
b) Analytics cookies
Cookies used to measure website traffic, analyse user behaviour, identify the most popular content and sources of visits. They allow the Controller to develop the website and optimise the user experience. Analytics cookies are activated only after the user has provided explicit consent.
c) Marketing cookies
Cookies used to display personalised advertising content, run remarketing campaigns, measure advertising performance and tailor communication to the user’s interests, including across social media and advertising networks. Marketing cookies are activated only after the user has provided explicit consent.
d) Functional cookies
Cookies enabling enhanced website features, such as embedded videos, maps, chat, advanced functions of the boat configurator, language or region preferences, and integrations with social media. Functional cookies are activated only after the user has provided consent.
1.4 Tools that may be used
Dracan Marine may use the following tools that rely on cookies or similar technologies. A complete and up-to-date list of tools, the storage period of individual cookies and the recipients of data is available in the consent management panel:
• Google Analytics 4 (traffic and behaviour analytics) – Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC,
• Google Tag Manager (tag and marketing tag management) – Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC,
• Google Ads (advertising, remarketing, conversion measurement) – Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC,

Some of the above providers may operate outside the European Economic Area. Details on data transfers are described in section 2.9.
1.5. User consent
Analytics, marketing and functional cookies are activated only after the user has given a freely chosen, informed, unambiguous and specific consent, expressed by clicking the relevant button in the cookie banner or in the consent management panel.
The user may at any time:
• accept all cookies (“Accept all”),
• reject optional cookies (“Reject optional”) – in such case only necessary cookies remain active,
• manage consents granularly and consent to selected categories of cookies (“Manage preferences”).
1.6. Withdrawal of consent
Granting consent is voluntary. The user may withdraw consent at any time – in whole or in respect of selected categories of cookies – using the consent management panel available on the website (e.g. via the persistent “Cookie settings” link in the footer). Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.
1.7. Managing cookies in the browser
Independently of the consent management panel, the user may at any time change cookie settings in their browser, including limiting their storage or blocking them entirely. Restricting the use of cookies may affect the proper functioning of some website features.
Instructions for managing cookies in the most popular browsers are available in their documentation (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Safari, Opera).
1.8. Cookie storage period
Session cookies are deleted when the browser session ends. Persistent cookies are stored for the period specified in their parameters or until manually deleted by the user. The maximum storage period of individual cookies is indicated in the consent management panel and, as a rule, does not exceed 24 months, subject to the policies of individual providers.
1.9. Transfer of data outside the European Economic Area
Due to the use of tools provided by global vendors (including Google, Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, Vimeo), the user’s data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including to the United States. In such cases the Controller ensures appropriate safeguards, in particular:
• Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission,
• the provider’s participation in the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, where applicable,
• additional technical and organisational measures applied by providers.
The user has the right to obtain a copy of the safeguards applied – please contact us at info@dracanmarine.com
1.10. User rights
To the extent that personal data is processed in connection with the use of cookies, the user has the rights set out in the Privacy Policy, in particular the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland) or another competent supervisory authority.
1.11. Changes to the Cookie Policy
The Controller reserves the right to amend this Cookie Policy, in particular in the event of changes in legal requirements, deployment of new tools or modifications to website features. The current version is published at a permanent URL and dated.
